Though that's all that Japan would need right now.

When do you head back? Is there anything for you to head back to right now?John Rozumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03626209473214085436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13190497.post-23430506062040029122011-04-07T16:22:22.089-04:002011-04-07T16:22:22.089-04:00Jonathan - Good to hear from you again. I did get around to watching both, though I still haven't seen the final season of "Lost."

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up liking "Battlestar Galactica" though I liked it a lot less once they jumped ahead and everyone was living in a settlement on New Caprica under cylon rule. I did not watch any of the spin-off shows. I just felt they weren't necessary.

I also enjoyed "Lost" though I wish it were actually as smart as the first season implied it was rather than being something they were more-or-less making up as they went along. One of these days I'll see how it finishes.

I haven't seen "Fringe." I actually lived without any television reception for about ten years. We have cable now, but I'm so out of the habit of watching tv that I rarely touch it. I'd be curious to see that episode to see if it's something they lifted, or not. When the X-Files comic came to an end, I saw a lot of my unused story pitches showing up in episodes of the tv series, which annoyed me.John Rozumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03626209473214085436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13190497.post-59952288731802231372011-04-05T16:45:11.631-04:002011-04-05T16:45:11.631-04:00As Japan continues to irradiate its waters, what s...As Japan continues to irradiate its waters, what sea-based kaiju would you like to see come to life (and no picking the obvious.) My name is Jonathan and I interviewed you ...John,

My name is Jonathan and I interviewed you YEARS ago for a site called PopCultureShock. We "talked" comic books, Xombi, and your film school roots.

Years later I followed up asking if you ever checked out Lost as I saw things in its writing that I thought reminded me of you. You said you hadn't, but were looking forward to one day watching either that or Battlestar Galactica.

I'm curious if you ever got around to it. Also, oddly enough as I was thinking of writing this question, I was watching an episode of Fringe on DVD where a man kidnaps someone to keep them from getting on a plane that might crash so that they could fulfill some destiny in the future. It reminded me of something *you* wrote!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
