But there's no "I ruined the rug!" moment with her, and there should have been.Danehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03247000912373670216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13190497.post-63432786550758214292008-10-31T10:15:00.000-04:002008-10-31T10:15:00.000-04:00I absolutely agree with you from a design standpoi...I absolutely agree with you from a design standpoint. I kept looking at that all white fireplace and wondering how anyone could possibly keep it white and use it too.

Everytime I see that segment though, I feel there was areal missed opportunity for some black comedy involving all that white, the husband's blood and Joan trying to clean up after the murder.John Rozumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03626209473214085436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13190497.post-6361460314692728162008-10-31T00:44:00.000-04:002008-10-31T00:44:00.000-04:00This is another of my favorites! Peter Cushing's segment always rips my heart out, and I will always remember the sick, sick twist on the Monkey's Paw segment.

But my favorite is the first one (though I'm not disputing your summation of it). Joan Collins never looked prettier, and I lust after her hair, her outfit, her furniture, the flokati rug, the fireplace ... It's heaven for a seventies design buff. :DDanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03247000912373670216noreply@blogger.com
