31 days of Halloween - Day 12

You can't have Halloween without a costume, right? Having trouble deciding? You can't go wrong with these. I've worn at least two of them myself.

Many of these images were given to me on a disc at least a year ago, and a lot of those images look like they came from the same source, which was not identified. If they were taken from someone's website, and anyone recognizes them, please let me know so proper credit can be attributed. I apologoze in advance to whomever they might belong. I'm simply passing them along in celebration of the season.

Oh man oh man oh man. First of all, is that a Slim Goodbody costume? I thought that guys vascular leotard was creepy enough on it's own, but a baggy plastic costume too? I have images in my head of an auditorium full of chanting kids in these costumes as Goodbody spreads the good word on stage. Creepy.

Second, that's one heck of a good Easy Reader mask mold, it's very Morgan Freeman-rific.

  2. That's a costume of the "Visible Man" model kit. I have seen pictures of a Slim Goodbody costume in the past, but I can't remember if it was comercially available, or something home made.

  3. The Visible Man used to give me nightmares as a child and every Christmas, without fail, my mother would tell me that she added one to my want list right before we mailed it to Santa. I was terrified to open my presents on Christmas morning.

That is all by way of explaining why I prefer Hallowe'en over Christmas. Much less frightening...

I would go trick-or-treating in that Easy Reader costume today, if I could find one that fit me!
