Today's collage portrait is Boris Karloff as the Frankenstein monster in BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935). The make-up was created by Jack Pierce.
This is an older collage, from around 2002, or thereabouts, before I really knew what I was doing. At some point I realized that I wasn't going to be able to create a full 31 new collages for this countdown, and accepted that I'd have to pad it out with a few older ones.

ReplyDeleteOh, he's great! I love that heavy, protruding brow and the dark shadows beneath. Such a ghoulish light being cast on his face too. Excellent!
