Yesterday, I posted a super genius chicken, today...well, Let's just say that Beaky Buzzard shouldn't sit by his mail box waiting for his Mensa Society membership package.
His face and neck is actually a pale pink, which my scanner didn't want to reproduce very well, no matter how much I played with the color and darkness.
Question - is Beaky's body a solid piece of paper, or combined pieces that form the overall shape? I don't know if the scan kept that out or not. I'd like to know your approach in an instance such as this one.
ReplyDeleteBeaky's body is all one piece of paper. I try to use as few pieces as I can manage, as it's really hard to match and blend edges, especially when using colors/textures from magazine photos vs a solid color piece of cardstock.
ReplyDeleteAh, that makes perfect sense after you explain it!
