This is a book I got through the Scholastic Book Club back when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. It was a favorite of mine, especially the illustrations by Ib Ohlsson. The title is a bit misleading though. There are only 7 riddles in the entire book.
Here's one of them:
What was howling and yowling all night long? Did you say cat? Wrong!
It was the wind.
