That painting is the back cover to a 1971 kids book called "Meg: The Mystery of the Black-Magic Cave" by Holly Beth Walker. The book was illustrated by Cliff Schule. I'm not sure if he did the cover as well. The interior art is in a cross-hatch style, but not too disimilar.
This book likes like it was part of a Nancy Drew-type series, though I couldn't tell you if there were more books in the series, or if only this one were published.
She was re-possessed!
ReplyDeleteThen her parts were stripped off and sold to witch-parts dealers...heh heh heh!!
Curse you, Max, you beat me to it!
ReplyDeleteAha! Youi both beat me. Love that painting.
