31 Days of Halloween - Day 5

Yesterday, I picked up my first bag of candy corn of the season.

George Renninger, an employee of the Wunderlee Candy Company, invented the popular confection in the 1880s.

More than 35 million pounds of candy corn will be produced this year. That equates to nearly 9 billion pieces—enough to circle the moon nearly 4 times if laid end-to-end. Wouldn't that be something to see?

For more daily Halloween goodness here are some old favorites: Senses Working Overtime, <Tiki Ranch< and X-Entertainment

...and some new additions: Musty TV, Frankenstein's Funhouse, and Random Acts of Geekery.
