I've only seen one example of Halloween at the home of matte artist and production designer Paul Lasaine , but it's fantastic. It doesn't sound like he changes it much from year to year, but why should he?
Watch the video and you will not only see what greets the trick or treaters as they approach the house, but what draws 1000 of them to his house each year. This is easily one of the coolest home haunts I've ever seen. It's a great use of the relatively simple Pepper's Ghost illusion also demonstrated in Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction.
