In Stores Now

Available at comic book stores now is SCOOBY-DOO #132, which not only has one of the cool giant ants from the movie "Them!" on the cover, but it has two stories written by me between its covers. One of them is the 10th installment in my regular, informative, series "Velma's Monsters of the World" which details the exciting world of monsters of myths and folklore. This month the monster of choice is the Manticore. This story was drawn by Karen Matchette.

The other story is a mystery involving a werewolf and a classic car. This one was drawn by a frequent visitor at this blog, Mr. Robert Pope.

Hmmm...I still haven't gotten my snail mail copies from DC yet; guess I have an excuse to go to the comic book store! Thanks pal! (oh, and I saw your upcoming cover for Scoob on the DC website, VERY cool.

Thanks, buddy. I'm going to post about that cover in a few days, so check back.

Yeah, the comp copies have been all over the place lately. It used to be I got mine a week or two before the issue hit stores. Then it was about two days before it came out, then the morning it came out, now I usually get it a day late, which makes it tough to post an announcement about what's in it on the day it goes on sale, when I don't even know what's inside the covers. It's weird that yours reach you so much later.

It could be worse though, I just received copies of "The Foundation" #2-5, so it's the first time I've seen these comics even though some of those issues have been out for months.
