Oh, sorry, that's "Talk Like a Pilot Day". I've been in Japan too long. (I'll be cutting and pasting this lame comment everywhere, starting with you.)

OhOh, Word Verification is "gurots"! Appropriate?

Speaking of cut and paste . . .

A pirate walks into a bar, and the barkeep says
"Excuse me, cap'n, but did you know that you've got your ship's wheel stuck down the front of your pants?"

"Aye," says the pirate, "that thing be drivin' me nuts!"

A Pirate retires and becomes a farmer. When asked how much he charges for corn, he replies, "a buckaneer!"

I had Peanut Butter Crunch for breakfast this morning!

Robert, did you have it in the great retro boxes that are out now with Smedley the elephant on the front?

Robert Pope said...

God, yes. I LOVE those boxes. They are like a design primer for kids in the graphic arts field: "THIS is the way to make a fun box!" And I've also been digging the Big G retro boxes, especially the Lucky Charms and Trix...

I have not seen the other retro boxes yet, just the cap'n Crunch family.

They show up sporadically at Target, but not too often at grocery chains (I just spotted the Lucky Charms box again last Saturday...)
