Happy Accident

When I scanned this collage, the scanner light reflected off minor wrinkles in the trees. At first I was annoyed and was going to give it another try, but then I decided I liked the effect. It looks like mist is rising out of the woods in the middle ground.

That DOES look like mist, like a nice morning fog. I also like your little cub checking out/playing with the fish.

Very good work! I really like this scene. A scene you could just walk into!

That's a beauty. Reminds me of a travel poster from the 40s.

Thanks, everyone. Welcome aboard, G. It's nice to see some new people dropping in. Stop by any time.

Love this collage! Is it done with just colored paper? The wrinkles work well. I found you via G. and I will be back!

Thanks for stopping by Jillypoet. My collages are all done physically with paper, glue and scissors and not using photoshop. The paper is a mix of solid color sheets of paper, and textures, patterns and colors taken from magazine and catalogue photos. With rare exceptions I don't use any of these found images as what they actually are. For example; I'd rather use part of a green sweater as foliage than actual foliage.
