Back when Return of the Jedi was first released, Jabba's in house band, the Max Rebo Band was an energetic trio whose big hit was a workout song sung in Huttese called "Lapti Nek."
With the 1997 "special edition" rerelease, Max Rebo was no longer a focus of attention as the band gained nine new members in addition to the original trio. "Lapti Nek" was gone replaced by a new song that dated just as quickly. Return of the Jedi's analog to the cantina band of the first movie was much more colorful and diverse in its membership.

Why no Oola?
She is a slave belonging to Jabba and not a member of the band.
Yarna D'al' Gargan asked to join the band but they had a strict "NO SIX TITTED ALIENS" policy. Sucks.
