Before William Marshall tackled the role of Prince Mamuwalde, better known as the vampire "Blacula," celebrated actor Morgan Freeman impersonated author Bram Stoker's famous vampire, Dracula numerous times as a recurring role on the television series, "The Electric Company." Freeman made a pretty imposing Dracula, yet managed to keep him a bit silly while teaching kids about how he loves to take baths in a casket, and making mistakes when taking orders in his diner.
Freeman was featured in 780 episodes of "The Electric Company" in a variety of roles, including the coolest cat of them all, Easy Reader.
He is shown here with fellow cast mates, Luis Avalos, Skip Hinnant, and Jim Boyd as the Wolf Man.
