Today's collage portrait is Pazuzu (aka Captain Howdy) played by Eileen Dietz in THE EXORCIST (1973). The make-up for this fleetingly seen face was created by Dick Smith.
THUMBS UP. The best yet. Although it's based more on your creative choice of a too-rare subject than the execution - I have to admit I saw Pazuzu's face and clicked over to leave the comment.
Who else would have thought to do this one? No one, that's who.
Good choice of subject! I have to say that the sparseness and negative space really sell this one. you can feel Reagen just off the page being possessed.
John Rozum is best known for writing supernatural themed comics aimed at adults such as XOMBI, MIDNIGHT, MASS., THE X-FILES, and THE HANGMAN featured in THE WEB, or for writing supernatural themed comics for children such as SCOOBY-DOO or THE SECRET SATURDAYS in CARTOON NETWORK ACTION PACK.
He's written many other comics as well as magazine articles, television episodes and even trading cards. He also does occasional illustration work, and accepts commissions.
