Today's collage portrait is Ray Harryhausen's stop-motion animated Cyclops from THE 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD (1958). I love this movie, and the cyclops is easily one of the five best monster designs of all time.

I dig the colors of this one too. You know, these would look great on a wall.
Great art as always, I support the idea of posers!
And by coincidence or strange psychic influence, I was just about to watch the movie today too! I just noticed earlier that netflix has it available for instant watching via streaming so I don't have to wait to get a rental dvd - they have the golden voyage and the magic voyage of sinbad streaming as well, but of course those movies are not in the same league as 7th voyage!
Thanks everyone. Prints of my collages is something I'll be pursuing. The trick has been finding a good printer whose idea of a print or poster isn't a glorified color xerox.
I agree with Shawn.....you really captured the texture and feel of his skin. I love how that brown highlights the eye, and that horn looks razor sharp!
John Rozum is best known for writing supernatural themed comics aimed at adults such as XOMBI, MIDNIGHT, MASS., THE X-FILES, and THE HANGMAN featured in THE WEB, or for writing supernatural themed comics for children such as SCOOBY-DOO or THE SECRET SATURDAYS in CARTOON NETWORK ACTION PACK.
He's written many other comics as well as magazine articles, television episodes and even trading cards. He also does occasional illustration work, and accepts commissions.

Yeah, I agree with Dane! We need Rozum art posters!

err... the idea of POSTERS that is (darn typos). As a rule I am firmly against posers :P

Man you captured the bumpy texture of his skin so well, and I really dig the color choices.
Yeah these definitely need the photo print treatment to make sure you capture the various layers and the handmade feel...

Excellent. I had to turn this movie off when my 5-year-old saw the cyclops. This reminds me to try it again, now that he's 6.
