Fun With Scissors - part 33

Yakky Doodle was a character I found annoying, even as a kid, but he was actually pretty fun to collage.

Cool Yakky! In fact, it's awesome seeing all the different characters you've made with collage. And thanks for commenting on my blog... I checked out your site and really enjoyed your work, expecially the trick-or-treating ones! You've got a very unique storybook illustrative style.

I was going to say, I'll have to check out some of your comic stuff too - I only got heavy into comics within the last few years, and there's so much to discover out there!!!

Thank you, guys.

Trevour, welcome to the world of comics. There is a lot of great stuff out there, much of it, fortunately collected into trade paperbacks. Enjoy the voyage.

Shane, good to see you here again. Much of what I have to say about process can be found in the comments to the January 30th post (Fun With Scissors - part 7: Snidely Whiplash).

If you like the cartoon characters, go to the artwork section of my website, and see what I've done with more time on my hands. I'd love to hear what you think.
